Reasons to breed Pokemon:
1. Populate the world with rarer species of Pokemon that new members may not be able to catch because of level disadvantage.
2. Get another copy of a pokemon (e.g. Eevee) to trade or to evolve into a new species.
To open your own nursery you have to have a Pokemon Box and should have filled out the PokeInfo for each of your Pokemon. In your nursery you will see 3 main headings; Parents, Eggs and Nursery Pokemon.
1. Parents
When you first open your nursery, you will notice that this heading is blank. Below your nursery you will see a post by me or staff which suggests different actions for you to take. One of these is the "Add Parents" action. Post underneath your nursery to add 2 compatible parents (parents that can breed).
There is also a "Remove Parents" action that allow you to remove the parents so that no eggs will be produced. Note: parents are automatically removed after they produce 5 eggs/ children. But they can be added back by you if you want to breed more.
2. Eggs
Once you have added parents, check your nursery everyday to see if your pokemon have produced an egg (one at a time). I decide when your Pokemon lays an egg and this can take up to a week (esp. for rare Pokemon). There will be a timer link like this one: TIMER. When the timer runs out they are ready to hatch. Most of the time they hatch automatically but if I forget to hatch it, please PM to remind me to hatch it.
3. Nursery Pokemon
When eggs hatch, the newly hatched pokemon will be moved to here. Your Pokemon Box will NOT be updated immediately. You have to select an action for the Pokemon such as: "Give up for adoption", "Move to Pokemon Box" or just leave it in the nursery.
